Matt is a Vice President of Finance & Operations at Unity Construction Group and serves as the head of Finance and Administration. A highly seasoned executive, Matt is responsible for leading Unity’s general management, financial administration, accounting & finance, human capital development, strategic planning, legal and corporate strategy, and account management.

Professional Experience

Previously, Matt was a Director in the Financial Services Group at Newmark & Co., a leading national real estate brokerage and advisory firm. While there, Matt served as a leading analyst and consultant, working with and on behalf of landlords, tenants, investors, users and sellers in evaluating acquisitions, dispositions, refinances, leases, and portfolio management.  Matt managed a team of analysts and was responsible for creating, modifying, and evaluating financial models, as well as training others in modeling techniques and financial concepts.

Prior to this, Matt was an Acquisitions Analyst and Associate Asset Manager at Onyx Equities, a New Jersey-based private equity firm.  Matt began his career working as an Analyst with Cushman & Wakefield in Philadelphia and with Grubb & Ellis in New York.
