Charles is a founding member of Unity Construction Group and serves as the Chief Executive Officer. A highly seasoned executive, Charles is responsible for leading Unity’s general management, financial administration, human capital development, strategic planning, business/corporate development and account management.

Professional Experience

Previously, Charles was an Executive Vice President of a well-established, regional construction management and general contracting firm that served the Tri-State marketplace. While there, Charles maintained dual professional responsibilities, also serving as Executive Vice President of an emerging-growth Philadelphia real estate development company.

Prior to this, Charles was the Vice President of Corporate Development at American Financial Resource Group, Inc. (now NYSE: AFR), a premier real estate investment and management firm. His responsibilities included: internal corporate development, external institutional relationship management and co-launching its first Real Estate Opportunity Fund ($150,000,000). Additionally, Charles’ responsibilities included the asset and property management of over 3.5 million square feet in 19 states across the U.S.

Earlier in his career, Charles was the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Exeter Technologies Inc.; where he provided the visionary leadership, general management, strategic planning, business development and marketing expertise that drove growth from ground zero through market success. He was personally responsible for championing the profitable merger and acquisition of the company by Measurement Specialties Inc. (AMEX: MSS).
